After the sticker shock of shopping the retail stores I started to search the websites. I finally discovered simplyeyeglasses.com and that is where the search ended. The selection of frames was the most extensive and the prices the lowest. The site also provided the most information regarding frames, lenses, options and prices. It even includes a glossary of optical terms. The customer service was extraordinary and Cindy was extremely kind, patient and helpful. I tried on 13 different frames before making my selections. Since I loved the frames so much and the prices were half or less than in the optical stores (and much lower than the other websites) I ended up getting two pairs of reading glasses, two pairs of progressive glasses, and two pairs of progressive sunglasses. I am now working on pair 7 that will include Kodak InstaShades. Besides having trouble choosing between frame styles I ordered doubles because I tend to misplace my glasses and so I will always have a spare pair ready to go. I could do this because with Simply Eyeglasses I was essentially getting two pairs for the price of one. However, I was very nervous about ordering online. I discovered that there was need to worry because the quality turned out to be better than my old glasses purchased locally. Also, Cindy held my hand the whole time and made a few recommendations regarding my order that I am very happy with. I cannot recommend this site enough. I wish there was the option to give 10 stars+. Simply Eyeglasses is stuck with me forever now!
